If liquor didn't contain alcohol, would people still drink it?!
Do people only drink alcohol because of the restrictions!? (i!.e: getting drunk, underage drinking laws, dui's)
So my question is, if stores sold liquor (but it didn't contain alcohol), how many people would be so quick to get it!? Does it really taste good enough for people to buy it even without alcohol!?
It seems like lately that kids are only buying liquor because of the rush of alcohol!. I'm not so sure they would buy it if it didn't contain it however!. They'd probably say, ew, that stuff is gross! lol!.!.!.

Have you ever tried non-alcoholic beer!? It tastes awful!. Part of what makes alcohol beverages taste good is the alcohol!. Case in point: no one publishes tasting notes for grape juice, which is essentially unfermented wine!.
It's also important to note that drinking alcohol is not, contrary to what they may have taught you in school, an either/or proposition, where one binges or abstains entirely!. Many people drink socially because it helps them relax and ease into social encounters (it also helps white guys dance)!.
Now, I don't know if your acquaintances are binge-drinkers or not, but even if they are, it's important to remember that many people can and do enjoy drinking responsibly from a much younger age than is legally allowed in the USA, and bad choices made by a few other people is not a good reason to take that away from them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A lot of people won't because there is no nutritional value!. But really there is plenty of drinks that do not taste good but people still drink it for a variety of reasons!.
So of course people would still drink it, but i believe there would be a significant drop in sales and consumption due to the vulgar taste!. Kids drink to get smashed, and many adults!. I would drink many even without the alcohol, because I enjoy them (if they tasted the same)!. There are so many great beers out there, wines, and a few liquors and cocktails!.
