How can I get my parents to let me drink alcohol?!
I'm 14 years old and I have had little sips of alcohol before but I know I can handle at least one bottle!. My mom thinks I'm joking but I had some vodka cruiser at a party and it was good!. I am trustworthy enough not to get drunk, please help me convince them! thanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

You should explain to them that you have been drinking at parties!. Make sure they know whose party and the date and if the parents were there or not!.
Then, your parents should go after the people that supplied the alcohol to you!. It's illegal and even your parents can be charged for allowing you to drink alcohol!.
Some parents say they let their kids drink at home because they're gonna do it anyhow and its more controlled at home!. Following that line of thought, whats to keep someone from saying "Kill your kids because they're gonna die sometime anyhow!."
There's no good argument for you to drink at 14!. There's a lot of reasons not to have you drink!.

I think you should wait until you are 17 or 18 to try and convince them!. As a parent myself, I would rather have my son drink with me at home than at a crazy party and end up getting arrested and a ticket!. Most parents don't see it that way, and I think you would have a more convincing argument at 17 or 18!. My parents starting letting me drink at family functions when I was about that age, maybe a little younger like 16!. My parents were never that strict with me, and I turned out to be a pretty good kid!. If you are doing well in school and they trust you, I don't see how they would have a problem with you having a drink at a family event, or at home with them!. But I guess I am a more lenient parent than most!. Just bring up how responsible you are (give specific examples) and set rules/limits for yourself!. Setting your own rules and limits will show them you are being responsible about the whole thing!. Good Luck!.
Edit: It is completely legal to drink alcohol with your parents permission as long as they are present!. Some bars/restaurants won't let you, but at home or a family event it is just fine!. You won't be taken away from them as someone else mentioned!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i didnt tell my parents, but eventually they found out
they asked who got me it, how much i had etc, but i was completely honest about it!.
they didnt seem to care too much, and now they know i drink, and i guess they have just realised that all they can really do is advise me, but cannot really stop me!.

r u kidding me!? 14 huh!? well i come from mexico!. i started taking sips of beer at age 2 or 3!. was drinking one or sometimes two cans of beer at the age of 8 or 9!. didnt know much about the beer really, so i dranked it like i would with gatorade or another drink!. later as i grew older i found out what i was doing and decided to stop cuz of the potential problems!. my parents werent irresponsible is just the culture down there!. in mexico is ok to drink at 18, just so u know!. i am 20 now, bodybulder, havent touched beer in the longest time!. im guessing 9 or 10 yrs ago!. and i have sworn not to!. i have however dranked recently some margaritas and a little wine and wisky!. but i never liked any of it and since im so accostumed to the whole drinking game that it takes a good amount of alcohol to get me drunk!.
as u can see from what im telling u, u will have time to make ur decisions in life!. u are still young and have a bright future if u stay away from alcohol!. there is a reason why so many people here are telling u not to try it and if u do to wait until our old enough!. u know why some many people say the same!? cuz is true, a girl ur age should be thinking about ponies, rainbows, unicorns, anything but how to get her parents to do something illegal!. i hope nothing i said makes u feel bad but sometimes is better if u hear the hard-cold truth!. good luck with whatever u end up doing in life and seriously, stay away from alcohol!. most guys dont like girls that drink or smoke, find something to do like play sports or workout or something that takes ur mind of that stuff, ok!? good luck girl!. hope this helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

14, you may be trustworhty enough in your eyes, but when you start drinking, you lose the control you had and thats when things get out of hand, the drinking age is set at 21 for a reason, why would you poison your liver now when you still have soo many years ahead of you!?
