What hors d'oeuvres/ finger foods would you recommend with Absinthe?!


Question: What hors d'oeuvres/ finger foods would you recommend with Absinthe!?
I'm having some friends over tomorrow night before a concert and we will be having Absinthe for sure!. It's tough to accompany with food I believe, but I'd like to have something out for my guests!. Any suggestions would be most welcome!. Thank you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

From experience i think smoked salmon is always good with strong liquor!. But if it's 75% Absinthe like we get in the U!.K, then pretty much anything that will soak it up would be safest!!. Italian Bruschetta would be a good bet or something with potatoes as they both contain starch, and starch breaks down alcohol!. Enjoy! ;-)
