Is there a drink called "Double scotch Single malt"?!

Question: Is there a drink called "Double scotch Single malt"!?
Is yes, is it widely available in Asia!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Sure, the “Single Malt” refers to Scotch Whisky made from a single malt versus a blend!. Johnny Walker is a blend and so cannot use the single malt destination!. Glenfiddich is made from a single malt, hence is labeled a single malt!. Single Malts have a unique taste profile that can range from sweet to fruity to spices to oaky much like fine wines!. Blends less so, but those can be interesting too!. High end blends are incredibly smooth and seductive!.

Double is just that a double shot!.

It should be widely available in Asia!. I lived in Korea for many years and Single Malts were everywhere!. Pricey, for sure, but every bar had at least one brand, typically Glenfiddich!. Asians seem, on whole, pretty savvy on Whisky!.

Scotch is a whisky made in Scotland!. There are a few types of this liquor, including single and double malt!. Single malt scotch is aged in oak barrels for at least three years, but usually longer!. Single malt comes from one distillery and one barrel!. Double malt scotch comes from more than one distillery and therefore more than one barrel!. Hope this helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Double means two jiggers worth, scotch means Scotch whisky and single malt means a certain type of Scotch whisky!. It should be widely available in most upscale bars (I doubt a dive would carry Scotch, it's rather expensive)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
