Is ICE BEER stronger than regular beer?!

Question: Is ICE BEER stronger than regular beer!?
Answers:
An ICE beer is stronger than the beer it was made from!. The process of making ice beer is called freeze distillation!. Beer is mostly water, which has a higher freezing point than alcohol!. The beer is slightly frozen, and some ice crystals are scooped out leaving behind the alcohol and flavor!. The resulting beer has a higher concentration of alcohol than the original beerWww@FoodAQ@Com

Not really!. Ice is just a process of removing water!. If you look at the bottle, most of the time beers have the same amount of alcohol at 5% by volume!. The alcohol content is not affected by any process!. Brewers maintain almost the same amount of alochol as regular beers!. Different processes only affects the taste!. And I would say, Ice Beers are smoother and doesn't have a bad after taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would have to say no!. Fosters Light Ice is the chink in the armour here!. Unless Fosters has no idea what those terms mean; they just saw them on some other beers!.

Let some one else figure that question out though - I've already dined on some Maximum Ice, which could mean anything from ice skate polish to antifreezeWww@FoodAQ@Com

Canadian ice beer is, they remove some ice!. American ice beer isn't because removing the water would make it a distilled spirit, so they just add more sugar or corn to make it stronger!. Then they freeze it a few time and it smooths out the flavour!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
