Hangover cure please?? !?!
I used to be a very heavy drinker (on the verge of an alcoholic kind of drinking) but i stopped drinking heavily, and swapped my alcoholic beers for alcohol free beers, and just have the occasional drink with dinner or when im with friends!.
but last night i got wasted! i dunno how much i drunk my mum kept refilling my wine, i was throwing up in the street etc etc
and this morning i feel rubbish! my old hangover cure was just to have some more drink and then slowly stop and switch to water and id feel fine again, but doing that now would ruin the whole point of not drinking as much, and will contradict everything ive worked for over the past couple of months!.

Hangover ills are caused by your body not being able to filter out all the toxins in alcohol!. So your first line of defense is to help your body filter it out!. This means water!.
How much water you need varies!. And what you drink has a big effect on how toxic the alcohol will be!. Mixing sweeter wines and beer in an evening of drinking is often a bad idea!. also, the darker the liquor (like Jager vs!. vodka), the more severe its toxic effects!. If you don't drink enough water or if you consume too intense of an alcoholic mix, your body can't filter out the toxins as well!. Meaning you'll be stuck with them and all the bad things they can do after the fun wears off!. Once the toxins get entrenched in your system, it's too late for water-drinking alone to cure them!. They start working new evils that you'll have to fight!. These toxins deplete your body's stores of important minerals and vitamins, which makes you feel like absolute crap!. Your blood sugar is also low!. Your stomach is irritated!. You're dehydrated!.
To help get rid of the toxins in your body after waking up with a hangover: Take a long shower, as hot as you can stand it!. It will help your body sweat out a lot of these toxins!. You'll be amazed how much better you feel!.

Your first contradiction was drinking too much this time!. You should be able to be alert enough to tell your mom after a drink or 2 that you have had enough!. If she doesn't respect your wishes them go home!.

Eat, sleep, drink fluids, take vitamins or soak in a hot tub!. Hangovers have no other cure than to run the course of the day!. There is no other cure other than time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always found B12 supplements to be really useful for getting rid of a hangover!. I always used the gels that are inhaled nasally since they worked faster than the ones taken orally!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I find that taking an Alka Seltzer, drinking lots of water, and eating something greasy like a cheeseburger and fries helps the process, but it doesn't happen instantly!.
The main thing is to hydrate your brain and that requires lots of water!.
Then you have the stomach issue!. It's important to put some kind of food in your body so that it has something to use as fuel to get you through this!.
Next time, if there is one, try drinking a quart of water before you go to be and eat a chocolate candy bar!. The water will hydrate your brain and there is supposed to be something in the chocolate that helps prevent the hangover!.
