I don't quite remember when I 'started' because I had tried some of my dad's beer when I was 8 or so but hated it!. Once in a while had some champagne at weddings or celebrations!. I guess the real and more constant drinking started when I was 15!. My parents always knew I drank because it wasn't a problem in my house!. Growing up in Holland and Belgium, drinking isn't such a big deal like in the States where the legal drinking age is higher than with us!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes!. I started drinking early, according to my parents!.
According to the law at the time, the minimum age to drink was 18!. I started around 16 or 17 as most people my age were doing!. However, I did go to private school, so things were different for me, I was much more sheltered!.

It depends what you call drinking, i think i had shandies 'beer mixed with lemonade' since i was about 10!. Nothing to affect me, but in my head it was still alcohol!. And i used to take my parents alcohol with some friends occasionally!. ANd on nights such as new years or birthdays we did drink, the parents found out, but we didn't get a brutal tell off or anything!. And in my eyes that was best!. Because i didn't feel the need to go and drink somewhere else in case my parents found out!. ANd it was a lot safer as i was doing it around home!. Now i'm able to drink, the funs gone out of it to be honest!. Mind you i love the occasional night out getting smashed!. But not to the extent my friends drink!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I started drinking at 15 but not very much!. Then atleast every weekend after i turned 16 though mostly beer!. Its funny because here in Switzerland you can drink beer, its the legal age for drinkingWww@FoodAQ@Com
