Question: Help! The hangover that never ends!?
So Saturday night, I got really drunk off 3-4 beers!. This was my first time getting drunk!. And I am a lightweight!.

I had a massive hangover but it's gotten better since Sunday morning!. But now it's Monday night, and I still can feel some nausea, lack of appetite, and headache!. I took Advil all day and drank water!.

Any suggestions!? And this is my lesson learned, I will not get drunk again!. So you don't need to tell me!

Drink a ton of filtered water (at least 30 ounces a day) and up your doses of Vitamin C!. Eat bananas!.

You might have food or chemical intolerances!. I get 4 day hangers from 4 beers too and they are brutal hangovers!. It isn't the alcohol doing it to me - it is the preservatives and sulphates (and probably other unnatural "goodies) in the alcohol!. Cider is even more deadly than beer I find!.

Don't take the Advil!. It could make it worse!.

Next time try drinking natural beer without additives!. See if that makes a difference for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

But in all seriousness, sounds more like an alergic reaction, or some bad beer!. Not a bad hangover!.

But you need to eat some vegetables, keep drinking water, maybe have one of those energy drinks (replace some electrolytes) and get plenty of rest!. If your still feeling bad tomorrow, maybe consider going the doctors!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I know it's possible to get drunk on that small an amount of alcohol, and even have a hangover, but no way did it last that long!. It had to be more than a hangover!. It sounds to me like you just happened to come down with a bug of some sort coincidental to your drinking "binge!." Www@FoodAQ@Com

Drink gatorade!. Even salt should help you!. See when you get drunk you loose a lot of electrolites and you become dehydrated so rehydrate drinking something to replenish what you lost!. Somebody told me that after you drink and before you go to sleep you drink a glass of milk!.!.!. just not cold neither hot!. That should help you for the next day to not have head aches or the nausea!. I like to drink a lot of Clamato juice and lazy soups jajaja!. The maruchan cups are greatWww@FoodAQ@Com

Hair of the dog, in theory, works!. I've never tried it!.
But make sure you eat and drink pleanty water or some gatorate, espically if you are throwing up!. You could become dehyrdated (more so) and that could land you in some serious trouble!.

My first hangover I was SO SICK, it lasted a few days!. I didn't want to eat but I felt worse when I didn't!. Get lots of sleep and cranberry juice can help!. Keep your foods bland as well!.

there really isn't a great lot you can do for hangovers apart from what you have already done!.!.maybe you are just coming down with something else!?!? Try and rest up as much as you can and keep drinking plenty of water!. Hangover's are mainly caused by dehydration from the alcohol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It sounds like, although you drink water - your blood sugar is too low, and your electrolytes may be off!. Take a good multivitamin, including the Vitamin B's!. Drink orange juice!. Your blood sugar will come up and the electrolytes should be better!. Try eating some crackers, as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The first time I ever got drunk I felt like crap for a good two days or so!. Drink alot of water, get alot of sleep, and take something for the headache!. Eat foods that aren't rough on your stomach (simple food, like mac & cheese, crackers, etc!.)!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Water!. Drink lots of it!. Generally it's best to drink it BEFORE you get the hangover, but it'll help your body process the alcohol regardless of when you drink it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You sound like you have an allergy to alcohol!. You should either stop drinking or see an allergist to make sure!. If you do have an allergy, it can get worse unexpectedly and potentially have fatal results!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bananas !.!.!. alcohol reduces your body's potassium levels which leads to feelings of nausea and headaches !.!.!. bananas are very rich in potassium !.!.!. though I'm guessing it's been long enough that any food intake will boost your vitamin levels back to normalWww@FoodAQ@Com

You may have had other things going on as well but try drinking sport drinks, they have electrolites and this is often what is causing the problem of the headaches, the loss of electrolites!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Time is the best healer!. I think gatorade helps, sometimes water isn't enough to re-hydrate!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

drink some pickle juice, right out of the jar, a few big gulps will help you better than any tylonol or advill crap!. SWEAR! I've been doing it for years!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
