Wine for Sister's Birthday?!

Question: Wine for Sister's Birthday!?
Hi,

My little sister is turning 16!. She's into wine, one of her dreams is to become a sommelier, so I wanted to get her a bottle of wine that wouldn't be mature until she's 21!. Does anyone know where I can find that!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Predicting when a wine will mature is very difficult and generally you only know a wines ready when its ready and not in advance!.

I have looked into the recent history of various vintages and made some assumptions as to when they will be ready, at the very least the wine will be enjoyable if not at its peak!.

The majority of wines largly depends on its growing conditions!. And thats basically what a vintage is, the time and place a wine was produced!. So for example 1982 was a fantastic year in Italy for growing wine, so an italian wine from 1982 is said to be of a good vintage!.

My suggestions are -

A Red Bordeaux from 2005
A Portuguse or Australin vintage from 2007
A German vintage from 2006Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can check out this website, they have a lot of mixing drink recipes:

Marsala or Zinfandel, something sweeter but try to get a red wine because whites tend to be harder for younger people to drink taste-wise!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would get a bottle of white Zinfandel!. I have had it before and I love it!. It is nice and light!. I drink it at all the parties and events that I go too!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go to a Wine and Beer store and get Chateau de Rothchild
