Why is some coffee called blend? ?!
How is the blend coffee made!? Thanks!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Blends are different beans or roasts!.
Some examples!.
Many people can't afford Kona AA so they blend 10% Kona AA with 90% Colombian to make a Kona Blend( so you can taste some Kona) at an affordable price!.
Others blend Colombian, Venezualan and Mexican beans for a distinct taste IE Cafe Le Semeuse( a great coffee) and used at some very famous restaurants!.
Then you can have a blend with a medium roasted bean and a dark roasted bean like Espresso + Colombian!.
Blending coffee's give them a different flavor profile!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

"Blend" usually means it's a combination of 2 or more types!. For them to call it something specific like "Columbian" means that it has to be a certain percentage Columbian coffee!. "Blend" is usually something they say when they can't call it something specifically!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
A coffee "blend", also known as "multi region", is when 2 or more coffee beans are mixed together to make a completely different taste in the coffee!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yup - just different beans, sometimes from different countries!. Some places mix them for a specific flavour or characteristic and some do it as an economy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
