Which red wine is a favorite Chianti or Barbaresco ?!

Barbaresco would be my choice!. Piedmont is a really hot region right now and Barbaresco tends to have a fantastic nose, assertive acidity and tanins to really balance out the lush fruit!. Plus, Chianti is often associated with basic table wine!. Unless you have a Chianti Classico or Classico Riserva!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
I always prefer the wines of Tuscany and will Always take a good bottle of Chianti over the Barbaresco!.
I will not say the Barbaresco is not as good, It is just too powerful and if you want to just have a pleasant day at the beach with a good red tuscan wine, or are serving a luscious Italian dinner of pasta and chicken or veal, or just relaxing at home, Chianti will always please!. The Barbaresco on the other hand will compliment a hearty dinner of meat or a robust pasta sauce, and not much else!. Not high on my list of good before bed sipping wine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
