Sloe gin and other fruit spirit recipes?!
I am about to make some sloe gin (some now so it is ready for Christmas and some in a month or two after the first frost for improved flavour)!. I am happy that I know how to make this, but was wondering if anyone has any other recipes for fruit spirits using gin, vodka or even brandy!. What fruit can I use and is it ok to use bags of frozen berries or should they be fresh!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try blackberry vodka!.
Or get some vodka in a big jar you can screw a tot on!. Add a whole chopped up orange and some plumbs whole, add some dried abricots and seal!. Leave for about 3 months add sugar to taste and eat the fruit and drink the sweet liquid!. (by the way chuck out the orange peel)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
