First-time Pipe-Tobacco Buyer?!

Question: First-time Pipe-Tobacco Buyer!?
I have decided to purchase a pipe and am researching different tobaccos!. I understand aromatics and non, but my knowledge stops there! I do not mind deep, rich flavors!. (In fact, the severe decline in coffee flavor has driven me to smoke, as the "dark black" flavor of cheap-to-mid priced coffee is a great comfort!.)

Could anyone suggest a few brands, or blends to try!? As I am but a lowly college student, I am not keen on pricey smokes, but am not aiming for cheap stuff, either, unless it is decently flavored!.

Thanks, all!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The best thing to do is try out different pipe tobaccos and see which ones you like the best!. If your a beginner your probably going to want to start with an aromatic!. Buy small amounts at first, and smoke them a couple times before making the final decision!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Like some of the other people have answered, it comes down to finding the right taste for you!. I like some tobaccos that my friends say taste like lawn trimmings!. While they smoke stuff that I think taste like a rotten Christmas tree smells!.
The one thing I know from experience that might help is pricing!. In my experience, a Vanilla tobacco that sells for $12 a pouch is vastly superior to on that sells for $5 a pouch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

first make sure you get a good thick walled briar pipe, it will help when breaking it in, second just do what i do, go to your local shop and smell around!. if it smells good to you start small and buy a ounce if you dont like it yWww@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know about the flavor, but my Dad used to smoke a pipe & he used the Cherry tobacco-- it smelled soooo good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

All personal decision, Try different brands until you find the one you enjoy most!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
