Margaritas on the rocks recipes?!
I am throwing a bridal shower next weekend and wanted to make good margaritas but don't want to use the blender!. Thanks in advance!Www@FoodAQ@Com

there are 10,000 recipes, but i prefer the premade mixes, they taste good, and are easy, with the instructions on the container!.
I also love the premade margarita drinks, that all the big companies including Jose Cuervo and such have, you just pur it over ice, and have margaritas on the rocks!.

Easy -
You need - a 1 pint glass that marries with a shaker, like you see in most bars!.
You need good tequila - I use Cuervo Traditional!. poor tequila = poor margarita = bad headache
Triple-sec or cointreau if you want to go all out
lots and lots of crushed ice (I use the ice maker in my freezer)
Any old margarita mix will do
kosher salt for the rim, if you want salt!.
lime slices to make it look official
a shot glass that is 1 and 1/2 "jiggers"!. Mine is two sided, one side is a single jigger, the other is 1!.5 jiggers!.
Fill pint glall with crushed ice - all the way to the top!.
add 2 x 1!.5 jiggers of tequila
add 1 x 1!.5 jiggers of triple-sec/cointreau
fill glass to the rim with margarita mix
shake
Pour into salt rimmed (if desired) glass, add lime garnish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
