I know plenty of people who have paid for their schooling through bartending!. It's a way to make a ton of cash fast!. It can however become a lifestyle but as long as your focused on your schooling it shouldn't be a problem!. It's the only job I've had where I can make 2 weeks pay in a weekend! The suggestion for a country club or high end place, I don't agree!. Look for a bar or a club, much more money!. I only work 2-3 nights(20-25 hours) a week and make more then when I worked a 9-5 40+ hours a week job!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would say it really depends on you as a person!.
Me personally have been a bartender and waitress for 12 yrs!. I love it!. I work full time and then part time as a bartending a couple night a week!. I love the little bit of xtra cash but you have to have the personality to handle it!.
It is late nights, LOTS of sucking up to customers and socializing!. I know many ppl that after working in the hospitality field they loss the craving to go out with friends because they are always being social at work!. It can take over you life if you let it!

BUT it really is the best keep secret for making good money!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That sounds like a pretty good idea!. It is a fun and can be a quite lucrative job!. If you've got the personality for it, find a higher end place like hotel or country club!. And as long as you're up for working nights and weekends, it would be perfect!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i guess the money may be alright, depending on where you work; and if you don't mind being surrounded by a bunch of SLURRING DRUNKS all the time!Www@FoodAQ@Com

bartending is always a good way to work your way through schoolWww@FoodAQ@Com
