I've seen a few of these questions here but they don't really answer my question!.

How is Cider Made !?

If I wanted to pick the Apples from 10 Trees how would I turn this into Cider !? I alway's thought it would be a simple job of making Apple Juice!.!.!. & then letting it fement for maybe a year !? & Add some spice for good measure, add some Sugar before you drink!.!.!. but from the answers on here I gather this is not the case-

This link describes the process pretty well: http://www!.leeners!.com/cider!.html

The key is to use fresh pressed apple juice!. Processed apple juice has stabilizers in it, to where the juice will rot before it ferments!. You also should blend tart and sweet apple juices!. This site describes the ratios!. It also includes kits you can buy to make 3 or 5 gallons of cider!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you need a press in order to get the apple juice!.
if you wait and let the juice fermented in a barrel you will get apple cider, but be aware of the alchool, after fermentation it will be an alchoolic beverage no need of adding sugar
hope this will helpWww@FoodAQ@Com

Awww! I used to go to this pumpkin patch farm every year when I was a kid and watch Farmer Ed make apple cider and we'd all get to taste it! :-D

You need a cider press! :-D Www@FoodAQ@Com
