Are There Any Rum Drinks Besides Rum and Coke?!

thousands of 'em!. just google rum recipes and you'll be amazed how many delicious results come up!. because the best rum comes from islands such as puerto rico, almost every one of those fancy tropical drinks you see contains rum!. i'd recommend trying a rumrunner or even just some top shelf rum over ice!. Next to Vodka, rum is the most popular cocktail liquor (and my personal favorite for making cocktails) A few popular choices but by no means close to a complete list are: Mai Tai, Mojito, Bacardi (yes it is a brand as well), Daiquiri (my favorite which has many different flavors) Bay Breeze, Sea Breeze, Bahama Mama, Blue Lagoon, Caipirinha (though this is technically made with Cachaca, a cousin of rum from Brazil), Cuba Libre (Rum and coke plus lime juice), Hurricane, Pina Colada, and a Zombie!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most of these don't have rum as the focus!. Like a Long Island, it's pretty much everything combined and just happens to use rum!. If you pick which type of rum you're talking about you get better results!. You can use silver or light rum in place of vodka almost all the time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
