also, weight is just a baseline a place to start in judging how much you can consume!. Men process alcohol out of the blood stream faster than women, about 1 oz!. and !.75 oz!. approximately!. Besides that some people have a natural tolerance to higher volumes, some people build up a higher tolerance, and some people just have a lesser tolerance!. It's best not to test one's limit's, especially if you are inexperienced!. Being inexperienced with alcohol is not a bad thing but over indulging can be very bad!. No problem!. You can't get it!. The closest you can come would be absolute alcohol, which has had almost all of the water removed with sulfuric acid!. Not a good thing to drink!. The strongest potable liquor would be Spiritus, a Polish vodka, about 197° proof!. (Pure alcohol, if it existed, would be 200°)!. You do not drink it straight!. Ever!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
OK guys, this post is a little bit off base!. I would like to believe that the poster knows relationships between %ABV and wants to know the total pure alcohol content they can handle and then divide it up how they like -- shots, wine, beer!. Remember how the "general" rule is a 5% beer = 5 oz of wine = 1!.5oz shot!. It is true, but how do you deal with an 8% beer or a 14% wine!? They don't count as beer, and they don't exactly fit into the 5oz wine category!.
Now, the reason I take this approach is because I have only seen 100% ethanol (200 proof) once in my lifetime!. It was at a University research lab, and it was a 5 gallon plastic pail of 200 proof ethanol!. If not kept in the pail, it would absorb water out of the air until it was around 95!.4%ABV, which is why we find Everclear to be 190 proof (95%)!. You simply cannot obtain 100% ethanol, period!.
That said, 3 full shots would boost your BAC from stone cold sober to 0!.194!. So, about 4!.5oz or 135mL of pure alcohol!.
In terms of shots of vodka, at 40%, you should be able to calculate it!. It would be 338mL vodka, which is 7!.5 shots!. You can safely toss in an extra shot every hour you are drinking; 7!.5shots would be one right after the other!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is not the type of question that can be calculated or answered accurately due to the differences among people for numerous reasons!.
However, even asking this type of question indicates a seriously risky behavior is being considered!. Some who over do this, go from a conscience state to a comma and never recover!. This is not the type of behavior that anyone should encourage!.
