Answers:
Yes it is possible and not a new idea in brewing!.

All the above is my line of thought!.

These heavy gravity beers are a specialty!. I enjoy them from time to time but not as a matter of sociability!.

Barleywine/Bocks/Scotch Ale/Belgian Dark Strong Ale (Abbey)/Some Stouts!?/Imperial Beers (some)/Others/!?

Are each full bodied and either relatively high or high in ABV!. Stouts are the biggest exception with concern to high ABV but others have a large spread of acceptance on the issue!.

Pitch a huge dosage of yeast into a well oxygenated wort!. Keep the yeast in suspension (stir it, rock it, whatever) for the first 3-4 days of fermentation before allowing to settle!. Rack only when the SG has dropped by 85-90% of target!.

I say it is possible!. Not sure how to do it but with so many high alcohol beers being made I am sure this can be done!.

What am I saying!? I know you can because I have just brewed a double & triple bock!. The worst thing is they are sweet and flat!. But they are both high ABV and high SG!. The last check bad my triple at 19 ABV and I am hoping for 20!.
I just used a huge grain bill and extract to bulk it up!. I used brewers yeast in both and also a turbo in the triple!. I had help with pur oxygen before the yeast pitch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The combination is possible but most people to not enjoy that type of beer!. As it turns out these beers come with more residual sugars, mainly dextrins, which render the beer too sweet!. You find this in bock beers stated above and the so called malt liquor and related styles!.

Control your mash for these things and use adjuncts as needed!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try a barleywine!. It is not only as strong as or stronger than a triple bock, it is more heavily hopped to counterbalance the maltiness!. Tip: don't drive after drinking these!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually a great many of beers are high ABV and big bodied!. The next generation is super ABV and super S!.G!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
