This particular Peach Schnapps is more than 40 proof!. Therefore it will hold for quite a long time!. You can keep it for a couple years even!. The only thing you might notice if you don't drink it by that time is a crusty sugary residue on around the lid, Peach smell might fade slightly, but it is definitely still mixable!. I would recommend 3 years tops!. Liquor has a VERY long life unless it contains milk like Baileys or Starbucks Creme' Liquor!. So I would say no worries as long as you still have the cap!. To be honest, if you keep the bottle in a cool, dark place away from sunlight, the alcohol will last for a very long time!. Normally the use by dates on the bottles are not really necessary, the companies must adhere to the law!.
If you really must have a maximum limit to keeping your schnapps I would recommend 4-6 months!. If there were any problems it would probably discolour and then I wouldn't drink it!. If it tastes fine it is fine!Www@FoodAQ@Com
