How many calories are in a pint of beer?!

Question: How many calories are in a pint of beer!?
Lets say stella, for the sake of argument!. How many calories per pint!?

also, if one has to drink, what is the lowest calorie drink out there!?

Many thanks in advance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Stella has 154 calories in a 12oz serving!.

All of Sam Adam's beers have their calories online -- Sam Adams Light is 126 (Guinness being 125), all the way up to some of their beers having 210 or more calories!.

See, alcohol has 7 calories / gram!. So one of the ways to make a light beer is to make a low calorie beer!. This is why you find things like Bud/Miller/Coors Light having 4!.2% while the "regular" beers are 5!.0%!. Heineken Light (and Amstel light) are 3!.2%, while Heineken regular is 5!.0%!.

For the best combination of calories and flavor, I would go with Guinness, like I said 125 calories in 12oz!. A typical soda is 170 calories!.

The lowest calorie alcoholic drink you could possibly make would be a clear liquor and diet soda, or a 0 calorie juice!. Hell, even scotch and water would be a low calorie drink, or just scotch on the rocks!. This is assuming that you have some goal of drinking so many units of alcohol!. That is, the least amount of calories you could consume while drinking 4 units of alcohol would be 4 units worth of light rum mixed with diet coke, or something equivelant to that!.

My guess would be 100 to 125 calories, about the same as an apple!. The "lowest calorie drink out there" is water!. Personally, I'd prefer to have the extra calories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on the beer!. Stella Artois eh, I think about 200 but I'm really not sure!.
Light beer has less, but it's like alcohol flavoured water in many instances!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it all depends on the beer you are drinking!. MGD 64 is a bottle of beer that only has 64 calories in itWww@FoodAQ@Com
