Can you make Sangria with honey instead of sugar?!

Question: Can you make Sangria with honey instead of sugar!?
I've been looking at all the different recipes and have decided on a white wine / coconut rum version with melon pieces!. Has anyone ever tried substituting the sugar for honey!? And if you have, how did it turn out!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It's will probably be great just make sure it mixes all the way!. Honey does not dissolve as easily as sugar or sugar syrup

FYI: You really don't have Sangria anymore since the recipe you're talking about has none of the cardinal ingredients that make Sangria Sangria (Spanish Red Wine and Brandy)!. But it does sound like you have a great Wine Punch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the sangria i make i don't use any sugar or sweetner!.
usually whatever fruit juices or crushed fruit i am using are enough to sweeten the wine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

who said there are any laws about mixing
