In ohio can a 19 year old drink with parents in a bar?!

Question: In ohio can a 19 year old drink with parents in a bar!?
Answers:
i love it when everyone just says stuff without thinking!. in ohio it is legal for the parent or guardian to buy the child an alcoholic beverage in any bar/restaurant!. there are very few bars/restaurants that would allow this to happen though!. it is completely up to the owner of the establishment as to whether they allow the parents to do this!. the establishment will not be penalized but most don't want to get into these types of gray areas!. Varies from state to state!. Most states, as long as a parent OR a legal-aged spouse is in the presence of the minor, he/she can consume alcohol!. In a few others, that only applies to private property!. Best to consult the local statutes!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

My guess, No!.
a 19 y!.o!. is over the age of 18 and therefore the parents could be charged with distributing- if they bought!. The bar would be charged for serving and the minor will be charged for underage drinking!.!.!.is it worth it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nope, no one under the age of 21 (in the US, of course) can legally drink in a bar!. You can be seated in the bar area of a restaurant, but you're prohibited by law to drink!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Absolutely not!. The parents could be arrested and the bar could lose it's liquor license!. Additionally, the 19 year old could be detained as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No ! the law is the Law and if the parnts got caught , they would be stuck with a nice hefty fine, is it worth it for a beer !?Www@FoodAQ@Com
