Answers:
yes i was 25 or so and the bartender did not believe i was old enough to drink!. i showed him my ID and he said it was fake!. when i told him it wasn't and asked for my drink he said he'd call the cops!. i said "call them - they can verify my ID!" and he waved his hand at me to blow me off and told me to get the h*** out of there!. i wasn't even rude to him i promise!.

i never did get served there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It hasn't happened to me personally, but when I was in a pub, a pregnant woman (fairly far along, maybe six months) stumbled in and ordered something that was pretty strong (I think she had been thrown out of another pub a few minutes before she came)!.

Anyways in her drunken stupor, she ordered and was enraged when the bartender refused to serve her any alcohol!. She became quite angry and started to curse like a sailor, but the bartender remained calm and offered her a small sandwich and to call her a cab!. She eventually realized she wasn't going to get served there so she stumbled out of the pub!.

I thanked him for his deed to society by leaving him a very nice tip!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Once!. The bartender refused to accept my selective service registration card and insisted on a driver's license!. Kind of hard to produce when you don't drive!. The next morning, we were pulling nets and the leader of our crew told me that the bartender, who lived nearby, had asked that we wake him to watch our work!. I was sent to knock on the bartender's door!. It's amazing how quietly one can knock on a door when one tries!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No -- But I have Bartended and I have refused to serve people!. I had One person who looked to young and did not have a ID so I did not serve them!. also I have had people that were way to intoxicated so I did not serve them!. Bartenders do this all the time -- there are some pretty steep fines if you do not abide by the lawsWww@FoodAQ@Com

not me!.!.!.but i do wish they would refuse service to some!. i have been in a few bars where there were ppl that just should not have had anymore to drink!.!.yet the bartender still served them!. i think its nuts and i think they should be along with the bar should be accountable for anythign that person does while being so intoxicated if they keep serving them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yep! My license was cracked on the corner so the bartender told me that it was a fake!. I'm 23 and have never used a fake ID in my life! Granted I do look like I'm about 17, but I still think it's crap!. The bar is Eddie George's Grill in Columbus, OH!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not me, but my sis and i went out and she got turned down at the second bar we went to because she stumbled through the door!. She was mad-and drunk, so of course she threw a tantrum and ran outside!. she was sooooo embarassed and I was embarassed for her!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I was with a group of rowdy people and we were asked to pay the tab and get the hell out!. Politely, of course, but it was obvious that none of were going to be served another drink!.
