Question: Do you chill port!? !?
also is a 2002 Taylor fladgate a good port!? My dad bought this - i usualy go for the vintage 40 year old ones so how bad will this one beWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I don't drink but my roommate last year started smoking cigars and drinking port and had a few books and magazine articles!. I think anything by Taylors is fairly good quality!. A 2002 Port bought now would have to be a LBV(Late Bottled Vintage) made from grapes of that year and aged for a longer time in wood and ready to drink, rather than a Vintage port bottled in 2002 and aged in wood only a couple of years with the rest of the aging in the bottle and ready to drink in 10-40 years!.
When I was in high school I didn't want to drink or smoke anything because I ran cross country in the fall, wrestled in the winter and played lacrosse in the spring and all of these and particularly cross country, and lacrosse because I was a middie, take massive levels of aerobic fitness, and besides if my dad had caught me drinking anything alcoholic let alone something with as high an alcoholic content as Port when I was fourteen, I would not have been asking how to chill Port but rather the intense fire generated by the for sure birch tree switching I would have received!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can but the great majority of Port drinkers do not!. It will dull the flavors and aromatics!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Generally, no!. Try it at cellar temperature to see if you like it that way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
