Drinking age changing...?!

Question: Drinking age changing!.!.!.!?
what do you think about the drinking age maybe changing to 18!. do you think it should, if so why!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
There should be NO drinking age!. Any EDUCATED/NOT-IGNORANT person knows that the European approach to alcohol is MUCH,MUCH more effective than the IGNORANT/UNEDUCATED American approach to alchohol!.Look at the stats!. Once again the USA is explicitly incorrect, yet refuse to alter ineffective policies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Absolutely!. In the US, you are considered and adult at 18 and males are required to register for Selective Service in case there was a war and we needed them to be drafted!. 18 year old should have all the rights and responsibilities of being an adult, among those rights is the right to drink!. Unfortunately, we have an irrational powerful lobbying organization called MADD that will probably be successful in preventing the lowering of the drinking age to where it should be, 18!. There is no statical evidence that having the drinking age at 18 would cause more traffic deaths or alcohol addiction!. Manitoba has a drinking age of 18 and has statistically less alcohol related fatalities than its US neighbor, MinnesotaWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think it should change!. Many teens drink anyway so changing it wouldn't make that big of a difference!. Teens have urges to do illegal things (I would know ;]) and when drinking is illegal, they want to do it more!. If drinking is made legal at age 18, who really cares!? Because then anyone can get some beer!. It is no longer this really cool illegal thing that everyone does! Of coarse they will get drunk a lot the first few months but after that they will realize its not that great!. So I do think it is a good idea to change the drinking age to 18 :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. The human brain does not stop developing until one is in his/her early 20s!. Consuming alcohol prior to that will inhibit the brain from developing to its full potential!. also, alcohol has a greater effect on an underdeveloped brain!.!.!.that is!.!.!.it effects it more!.

Best to leave it where it's at!. That way if one chooses to drink responsibly (2 drinks per day or less), they'll incur health benefits instead of risks (check the fact about that, it's true)!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

18 year olds drink if they want ANYWAYS!. and saying they cant by law MAKES THEM WANT TO DO IT EVEN WORSE!. DONALD IS RIGHT ONWww@FoodAQ@Com

It's 18 here already in the UK and has been for years-what age is it at the min where you are!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
