The original purpose of alcoholic beverages was that they were safer (healthier) than drinking water, which was polluted in most cities, and nobody understood about bacteria or pasteurization, yet!.

Well that's exactly what i always used it for,not so much now though!.The last time i got drunk i insulted my mother in law,told my boss exactly what i thought of him and got barred from my local!.So my days of getting drunk are over,i just have the two drinks now then i stop!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
well it can be good in some social situations where you might need a little dutch courage to talk to complete strangers but that in mind it does,nt mean you should get hammered and make a complete fool of your self or vomit all over your self i did that in the past and i wont be doing that again!.
