I know parmasan goes well with Shiraz, but I 'm just wondering how to enjoy the 2 together,I mean which goes first!?cheese or wine, some people says that I should keep the cheese in my mouth and then take a sip of the wine, but others say that i should dink the wine first,I wonder what is the right way to enjoy both, all answers are welcome, and if u could tell me your ways would be awesome!.Thx a lot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

At true wine tastings, you wouldn't eat anything while tasting the wine - then put some water in your mouth, swish it around and spit it out to clear your palate!. Water crackers or wine biscuits are also good!. To just enjoy the wine & cheese informally, eat it in whatever style you like!. I'd think that Parmesan might be too hard of a cheese to eat in hand though - try Brie, fresh mozzarella, a truly good cheddar (best is a combination of cheeses to complement a variety of wines)Www@FoodAQ@Com
I think that the best way to enjoy it is how YOU like it!.
A bite of cheese, a sip of wine, another bite of cheese!.
Or sip some wine, eat some cheese , have more wine!.
I generally start with the wine, have some cheese, and then it goes from there just how my tastes are and if I feel like more cheese etc!.
I use Mild-Medium Cheddar with Red wine, usually Cabernet or Merlot and it is the best!. Crackers are great as well!.
Have it how you enjoy it! Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should flip through or pick up the cheese guide from Murray's Cheese shop - it recommends a wine for each cheese in the book - and then just experiment and see what you like!.
I like to have wine with salami, olives, and cheese as a light and tasty dinner! I drink, eat, and drink!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
