Answers:
I can't help with questions 1 and 2 but I suffer SEVERE heartburn and acidity problems!.
I still manage to drink red wine on occasion but lately I have been drinking WHITE WINE!.
Carlo Rossi is a very inexpensive, but still very very good tasting bottle of wine!. It comes in the larger bottles and is readily available in North America (Its made in California)
Drink it cold and its perfect, you may find a new wine that you are able to drink regularly!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sweet wines:
Ice Wine - it's almost a dessert wine!. Very sweet and good in cordial glass, served VERY cold!.
Muscat or Muscato - also very sweet like mentioned above
Gewurtztraminer or Reisling - sweet to semi-dry, but on the sweeter side!.
Vognier - this is a sweeter than dry white
Sancerre - one of my favorites - a French white, on the sweet side!.
For Red wines, sorry, but I'm not a fan of sweet red wines!. Usually, you have to get Boone's Farm (yuck) to get that!. But, milder wines that don't knock you over with dryness are a good rose (white zinfandel)!. Don't laugh, Rose's are making a comebadk! ha!Www@FoodAQ@Com

depends on which country you are in too!. in australia we have great wine selection, but im not sure what you have their!. if your after a sweet white, a good SSB (semmlion sav blanc) is good, or a verdelo!.!.!. both of these wines are quite light, and easy drinking and arent too acidic
hope that helps:)

For an average sweet wine I would consider a Sauterne!. The sweeter the wine may help with the acidity!. As for a ruby wine, I guess the best would be to buy a bottle of Port rather than any ruby wine!. Try and find a good tawny port from Oporto in Portugal!. They are excellent!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
For a sweet white, Id try a muscat/mucsato, etc, for a sweet red try lambrusco or tawny port!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
TRY NOVELINO!.!.!Www@FoodAQ@Com
drink wine that has 11-11!.5% alcohol volume and that answers all your questions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
di amore or mi amore!. Red and white are both really good desert winesWww@FoodAQ@Com
