How long does a bottle of wine last if not opened and not refrigerated?!

Question: How long does a bottle of wine last if not opened and not refrigerated!?
How about champagne!? How long does it last refrigerated and not refrigerated!? Thanks!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
champagne will last a few years but is designed to be drunk young, unless it's a vintage (expensive, with a date on the bottle)!.

most other wine is also meant to be drunk fairly young!. whites within 1-2 years of bottling, most cheaper reds within 2-5 years!.

only very expensive wine is "aged" or meant to be laid down to improve with age!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Forget it!. The cheaper the wine that is what it is!. Champagne goes flat like soda and even in the fridge!. So if you don't use it you loose it!. I have hd wine in fridge for long time!. I doj have have a smaller one for cooking that is not a cooking wine out!. But still its used in my cooking a lot so it is used not out for a month thing for as time goes!. Red italian wines last longer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It should last quite a while!. However!. It it is sealed with a cork, make sure you store it laying down!. If it has a screw on cap, throw it away!Www@FoodAQ@Com

the aging process slows down if refridgerated!. but it should last at least 10 years if not opened!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

foreverWww@FoodAQ@Com

A long long time!.
Haven't you heard that it's better with age!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
