Its made the same way that whiskey is made , you use a grain!. mainly corn, Yeast and water and sugar and ya run it through a distillation other names for it are Corn Squeezin's "White Lightnin" Corn Whiskey" and if the alcohol content is high enough, you can also run your car off from it!. Now the Reason why it is illegal is because the FEDS cannot collect any taxes off from it , WHY DO YOU THINK THEY CALL IT BOOTLEG!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Moonshine is not illegal when made by a licensed manufacturer!. Its illegal when people make it to sell and don't have a license to either produce alcohol or sell it!. Alcohol production has food guidelines, that illegal shine makers don't always follow!. There have been instances of people dying or getting extremely ill because some shiner added something harmful to their recipe!. I heard of times where someone would add rubbing alcohol to the stuff to increase the volume and sell it!. That'll kill you!.
