Question: I want to start having a glass of red wine once a day, for the health benefits!. I am not a wine drinker, do !?
not know which brand to buy!. I dont want a real expensive one!. Somewhere in the range of 10-20 bucks a bottle!. Any suggestions!? also I like blush, such as Sutter Home!. Does it have the same health benefits of Red!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hope this isn't off topic!.
Natural concord grape juice, red grapes,, pomegranates, have the same benefit!.
also berries, esp blue and red!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Any red wine is beneficial to your health!. The trick is finding the one you like!. White wines and blush wines don't have the same benefits because it is the grape "skins" that contain resveratrol (sorry if not the correct spelling)is the ingredient that provide this health benefit!. My favorite is Cafe Zinfandel (a sweet red zinfandel wine)!. If you like sweet, try Gallo Family Twin Valley Cafe Zinfandel!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually, MERLOT is the specific red wine that's recommended for health benefits (and, my favorite, too)!.!.!.!.!.!. Any California wines are great; but try Mondavi!. You should find quite a few for about $10/bottle!. Blush wine would NOT have the same benefits; it's basically a sweet party wine, and not something a "real" wine drinker would even consider!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yellow Tail is a great brand of inexpensive wines!. All of their varieties are very good!. It's about $9/bottle in West Virginia, but sometimes it goes on sale for $7!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go check out your local liquor store!.
