Why dont they include the nutrional facts or atleast the calories on alcholic beverages?!

Question: Why dont they include the nutrional facts or atleast the calories on alcholic beverages!?
i think they should, b/c i read the labels on everything and we should have the right to know what exactly what were consuming besides the percentage of alcohol!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

because if you could see how much sugar was in some drinks you would not want to drink them!. but i do agree with you, ive always wondered how they can get away with that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's not much there a few calories, carbs, sugars and sodium!. No fat and no fiber!. And it's not yet required by law to provide this information!. But, I'm sure that requirement is not far away!. If you contact most Brands, they can provide this information over the phone or through their websites!. Look for brands that provide phone numbers or websites on their labels!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because it is disallowed by the government agencies that control such things!.
also many suppliers do not want to list them as few have any/much positive nutrient content!.

This has changed somewhat recently!. Some beers do list calorie/protein/carbs etc!. and thanks to the brewing industry and largely Coors the ABV can now be listed on beer labels!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Probably because there's nothing nutritional about it!.

Then again, they do put nutritional facts on bottles of pure water, which I think is pretty stupid!. (no calories, no calories from fat, no vitamins !.!.!. no s#it!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

alcohol is just empty calories alcohol is made up of carbs and alcoholic carbs are empty there is not nutritional value to them at allWww@FoodAQ@Com

Because it is not required by law, like it is on food and other beverages!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

u dont need it Www@FoodAQ@Com
