How long will wine stay good after it has been opened. How about Vodka?!
Answers:
Vodka will last for long!. Wine depends!. Is it a cork screw or aplastic cap!? Did you smudge the cork with your hands when you put it back in!. Are you going to refrigerate it!? Give it to a homeless bum on the street who you know is alcoholic for sure, this way he'll die and there will be less poor people, good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Vodka is eternal - refrigerated or not - so long as the bottle is kept tightly sealed when you are not pouring it!. It is pure ethyl alcohol cut to proof with distilled water!.
Some wines need to be left open for a few hours to allow light components to evaporate before they are properly drinkable (these are generally higher priced aged wines)!. Once opened spoilage depends on temperature, environment, and alcohol content!. At room temperature overnight in a closed bottle seems OK!. Refrigerated it'll be fine for a few days!. Bacterial fermentation begins pretty quickly, especially if the wine is left warm and the alcohol level drops a bit - and then you have vinegar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
