Answers:
You already ruined it with Blended :(

I prefer it cold with no ice!.Leave it in there a day or two and keep it in there!.

Unsure how much you know about terms, but Blended means that several distilleries have taken a batch and blended them together, all that means is that the taste is a myriad of flavors and always going to be the lowest quality!.

Single Malt means from a single distillery using only barley

Single Cask is the good stuff, and some of the most expensive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sweetie, I gotta tell ya!.
It sounds like Scotch is just NOT your drink!.
Purists do not put anything in it!.
Americans tend to put ice in everything, including good scotch!.
And others will pour Coke in it!.
But you really shouldn't do that to a decent 12 yr old Scotch!.

It is meant to be drank plain!.

And do keep in mind there are many different scotch whiskeys!.
And they do taste different, some very different!.

There are Malts, Blended, Grain, Liqueur Whisky, etc!.

Scotch Whiskey is made only water and barley (often malted with a dash of peat)!.
And Dewar's is no where near to being the best of the Scotch Whiskeys either!.

You might wish to try another brand!.
See the site below for a list of much better brands!.
