Answers:
The cheapest Irish I'm aware of are Kilbeggan and Powers!. They run about $15 to $20 a fifth locally!.

Any liquor would "work" in the sense that it will make a mixed drink!. I don't know that you want to mix beer + Bourbon, though!. Bourbon and Tenn Whisky (Jack Daniels) are a mix of very sweet and very smokey flavors, adding beer might be a recipe for a really tough drink to down!.

There are American whiskies beyond Bouron, Kessler for example!. Or you could use a Canadian whisky or Rye!. It doesn't really add up to an Irish Car Bomb, what with the lack of anything Irish!.

OH, and don't use Bailey's! It's a mix of Irish whisky and cream!. Tossing beer in there is a ticket to the white porcelain roller coaster!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only Irish whiskey you should use is Jameson!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Royal Reserve is the cheapest!. it is Canadian!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
