What are the basics I need for a home cocktail party?!

Question: What are the basics I need for a home cocktail party!?
We've moved into a new neighborhood, and we've decided to host a little party for everyone so we can all get to meet and chat a bit!. There are about 10 couples or so!.

My question is: Besides beer and wine, what things should we have available for our guests in terms of liquor and mixers!. We have some things, but because I've never hosted a cocktail party before, I don't want to be without something we should reasonably have!.

These will leave the most options available to people coming!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The basics:
Coke orange juice, sprite, lime juice, clamato juice( to mix with the alcohol)
celery salt, hot sauce,
Rye, vodka, rum, Baileys, banana liquor, sour puss, cognac, gin, tequila!.
With these you have the most popular easy drinks!.

That's a really good answer from zotdirect!. You can plan to have a fully-stocked bar, but you might also think about having a specialty cocktail just for the occasion!. Since it's close to Hallowe'en, you can have fun with it! Maaaahtha has some ideas:

I would suggest the basics: whiskey, vodka and rum along with basic mixers: vermouth, coke, tonic water, seltzer and a couple of lemons, limes and a jar marachino cherries and a jar of olives!.
