What's considered an alcoholic?!
My parents drink every day and most times they get pretty drunk!. Not to the point of passed out, but a little more than a buzz!. It's embarassing when my friends come over!. Are they alcoholics!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

They might be, but not all alcoholics drink regularly!. I knew an alcoholic that didn't drink all the time, but when he did he drank until the booze was gone or he couldn't hold any more!.

It's more than excessive drinking (although that in itself on a regular basis isn't a good thing)!.!.!.many alcoholics drink to hide from something (situations or feelings) or to avoid something!. An alcholic is someone who is totally dependent upon drinking to get through life!. It is a disease!. Drinking too much has nothing whatsoever to do with alcoholism!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
