What the big deal with Hennessy? Why is it a big deal?!
I'm not that much of a drinker but I love Rum and I want to know what Hennessy taste like and what is it best to drink with!? Can anyone describe the flavor!. also why is it such a big deal to male peers!? How much does it cost and about what size cost what!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hennessy is a French Brandy (also called Cognac)!. It is a "big deal" because a bunch of rappers and entertainers drink it and make it "cool"!.
I've met many true cognac drinkers that think Hennessy is junk, and I tend to agree!. I've even heard rumors that they add caramel coloring to it to make it seem like it has seen more oak than it really has!. Not sure if that is true!.

I don't know what the big deal is with Hennessy!. I personally don't like the taste!. It's made out of distilled grapes and it tastes like really musty and sour grape juice!. I don't know anyone who buys it more than once a year!. The cost, at least in Minnesota, is $38 for a 750ml!.
If you want to drink good cognac, save your money and buy something really expensive, like $140 for Hennessy XO or $150 for Remy Martin XO that have been aged for 20-30 years!. That is how cognac is supposed to be enjoyed!.

All that they said is true but they forgot to tell what everyone drinks it with!. Some straight up or with coke but most of my customers drink it with Red Bull in a drink!. Drink or shot it runs about $8!.00!. For a bottle here in WA State is somewhere in the price range the told you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
