Mixing dark and light alcohols, bad or not?!

Question: Mixing dark and light alcohols, bad or not!?
My friend tells me that it's a bad idea to mix dark and light alcohols (i!.e!. gin and brandy) or other things like that!.

Is there any validity to this!? If so, what makes it bad!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Ever had (or heard of a) Long Island Iced Tea!? It's one of the best drinks out there, and it has Vodka, Tequilla, Rum, Gin and Triple Sec!. That ranges from vodka (clear as water) to rum (dark as coke)!. It's OK to mix light and dark, just know how to drink in moderation!. Get drunk, but don't get totally hammered on the mixed colors because you'll have a hell of a hangover!. But if you drink in moderation (i!.e!. get drunk like a normal drunk person), you should have no problems!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mixing any alcohol with a different one is bad!. That's what gives you a bad hang over or causes you to throw up!.

Try drinking just one kind of thing one of these nights and you'll see the difference!.

One kind of alcohol itself has things that make you sick when too much is consumed, imagine consuming too much of different kinds!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, anything alcoholic can give you a hangover!. I wouldn't suggest mixing gin and brandy just because gin tastes like butthole, but a lot of drinks mix light and dark rum(rum runner), and they are delicious!! Www@FoodAQ@Com

i wouldn't say that it is going to be bad for you physically!. depending on the person and how they handle their alcohol some people get mean when drinking stuff like that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Its probably not bad i've tried it it just tastes really bad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
