Yuck!. I've been there!. I get hangovers pretty bad all the time!. I think the reason your throat is so sore is because of the dry heaving/puking irritated it!. also, because you were so dehydrated, but couldn't hold down any water, your stomach contents were really acidy, which i'm guessing would irriatate it too!. If you have any alkaseltzer take that with some water, and 1 or 2 painkillers (like asprin or ibuprofen)!. This wont help your throat but I've found that "Gatorade G2" really helps my hangover!! If you dont have to go to work, go back to sleep!!

Next time i'd suggest eating something before you go out :) LOLWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would say it is a mild dose of alcohol poisoning!.
Your sore throat is from coughing and puking!.

Feeling extra thirsty and sweating heavily are two opposite end of how sugar affects the body for diabetics!.

The thirst is when your BSL's (blood sugar levels) are high, and sweating heavily is a sign that your BSL's are low!.
You can have a blood test done that can show what your average level has been for the past 6 weeks if that is a concern!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's probably the acid!. Try some of these tips to get rid of your hangover:

Have another drink!. Seriously!. It has been proven that Alcohol can relieve a hangover!. Dont't get hammered but 1 drink will help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Gatorade is the best thing I have found!. But you will feel ill all of today and a little out of it tomorrow!.

This is a classic sign of the first stage of alcoholism!. Every alcoholic has promised themselves that they "will never do this again"!. All of us have done it again and some of us have done it hundreds of times again!. I hope you have no problem with alcohol!.

Just remember a certain number of us have a predisposition to be alcoholics before we ever pick up our first drink!. I truly hope you are not one of us but be careful and be honest with yourself about the warning signs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is no cure for hangovers!. You can only try to prevent them by taking a few steps before you drink:
1) Drink lots of water all day before you begin drinking at night!.
2) Never begin drinking on an empty stomach!. Doesn't mean go binge and then drink, just eat a reasonable meal first!. And it's good to snack on something crunchy during- not candy!.
3)Try and move around while drinking it helps metabolize the alcohol!. Dance, walk around from table to table at the bar, or walk around outside a bit and go back in!.
4)The "chaser" pills sold at drug stores work, but you have to follow the instructions!. Take the pills after avery few drinks, they are really nothing but calcium tablets!. You may substitute multi vitamins unless you have some allergy or something!.
5)Don't do any stupid shots with sambuca or that come in stupid test tubes!. Drink like a lady!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
