Lowering of the drinking age.....?!
There's been a lot of talk about lowering the drinking age from 21 to 18 with high school degree!.!.!.!.Any thoughts opinions on this!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am all for it!. We have the highest drinking age and the highest level of alcohol abuse!.

I think it would make sense!. People use the whole "if you are old enough to die for your country" to justify it!. I think its a valid point!. also, I am pretty sure people underage drink all the time anyway!. My parents did it, I did it, and I know lots of others!. I say lower it, teach kids to be safe and you will have no problems!. Other countries do it no problem!. I also like the answer about have the cops worrying about bigger problems than a teenager having a beer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It was already tried during and after the Vietnam War!. The argument used was I'm old enough to die in a war, yet I can't have a beer!. It didn't work, as the drunk driving, accident, and death rates for those aged 18-21 skyrocketed, and states eventually raised it back to 21 in stages!. For example, NY first raised it to 19, then 20, then 21!. Other states just went right back to 21!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
lmao morgan nice try!. in case you havent noticed drinking underage often harms communities!. i have known several people that have died throughout high school as a result of drunk driving!. yes adults do drink and drive, but kids are usually much more irresponsible about alcohol consumption!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
That isn't a good idea at all! I live in Europe where the drinking age is 16!. Unfortunately there are even younger kids who start drinking - just like smoking and drugs!. I also think that it's important that when you learn to drive you can't drnik yet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i come from italy and here the legal age is 16 (but nobody will ever ask you a document to see if you are actually that age!.!.!.)

They should definitely lower the drinking age!. Everything will be safer, there will be less arrests also!. Police should focus on those who harm the community, not drink underage!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If an 18 year old is considered an adult (which it is) then it is unconscionable to deny them full majority!. There's no need for a high school degree!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
