Have you ever tried Rye Whiskey?!
I like Scotch but have personally never tried Rye Whiskey!. Have you !.!.!.!?!.!.!.and if so, how would you describe it's taste!?

I have never tried it either but I have heard that it's bitter!. I have also heard it described as "peppery"!. Don't expect it to taste like Scotch!. Now you have me curious as well!. If you get some I'll take a shot too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Rye is very, very light compared to Scotch!. It's not nearly as complex, it has a sweet, fruity flavor that -can- be really good but most tend to be bland and boring!.
I've had Jim Beam Rye, Old Overholt and Pikesville!. I thought Pikesville was the best, then Jim Beam Rye!. None were fantastic, though!.
