If I put cheap vodka through a filter 3 or more times will it taste better?!
I heard that it has an effect, but the results vary from mildly better to almost top self quality!. I'm filtering Wolfschmidt as we speak!. I've never even heard of this brand, but it was 9 bucks!. It presently smells like rubbing alcohol!. Have you tried this before!? How did it turn out!? Will it work relatively similar with gin!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, well technically it will be less bad and more bland!. You're working up from awful to mediocre, but that's probably as far as you'll ever get!. I've tried this with vodka and it worked well enough that when we mixed it with fruit juice there was a noticeable improvement over the unfiltered vodka!.
I've never filtered Gin!.!.!. I'd guess (just a guess) that you'll lose both the awful flavor and most of the good flavors!. I can't imagine what you'll end up with (flat gin!?) but I guess if you're stuck with it and want to mix it into something!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have heard this works and it makes sence since charcoal is a filter for both water and spirits!. If you chill you liquor first it will make the filtration more effective as well!. I was thinking of trying this to do some vodka infusions, but dont know how economical it is!. How long will the filter last!? I suggest you switch to a best buy in vodka like Titos Handmade!. $18 and so so smooth!. Read my full review and seek it out!.

Try the filtration out and let me know what you think!. Make sure you do a before and after tasting!. Maybe save some unfiltered stuff for a blind side by side comparison!. nope putting it through a filter will not improve matters !.!.!. only re-distilling it would make it better !.!.!. but given how much it would cost to set up a decent distilation process !.!. better of with better voda !.!.!. unless you are under the legal drinking age !.!.!. in which case stick to red bull or something!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
