What might be a good whiskey for a non whiskey drinker to try?!
Answers:
You might want to try Southern Comfort - it's a bourbon whiskey derivative, quite different from scotch and rye whiskey!. You can use it as is, as a sipping liqueur, or with water, tonic water, soda water, or ginger ale, or you can use it for mixed drinks such as the screwdriver, black Russian, Collins, bloody Mary, etc!. It's a very versatile beverage!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
For a first-timer, I'd avoid the Isla Malts unless you like smokey flavours!.
Irish whiskies are pretty gentle
Of the ordinary malts, one of my favourites is "Tobermoray" but you might find that difficult to find (I had a hogshead of that in bond till a few months ago when I sold it)
Chivas Regal is a pleasant-drinking blended whiskyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Jack Daniels!.!.!.I don't know!.!.!.!.I mean I tried it and liked it a lot!. I am definitely not a whiskey person!. (I don't even drink regularly)!. I tried a "lynchberg lemonade"!. It's Jack Daniels with lemon flavor!. It covers up the strength of the whiskey and brings out the tartness!. Easy on the throat!. lol
