Question: Isn't there a name for a liquor cabinet called a "busboard" or something!?
I am having an argument with my inlaws that a liquer cabinet used to be called a "busboard" or something like that!. Am I crazy or isn't there anouther name like that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You are close, it's a Sideboard!. It actually matches counters and cabinets and is either built in or on wheels that lock!. Usually hidden in the cabinetry of a den or office space!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sam said it was a sideboard, but a sideboard isn't a liquor cabinet!. It is a place to store dishes and linens!. The American Heritage Dictionary defines it as a piece of dining room furniture having drawers and shelves for linens and tableware!.

Perhaps the word you are looking for is celarette!. It means a cabinet with special shelving for bottles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
