How long does a unopened bottle of champaign last?!

Question: How long does a unopened bottle of champaign last!?
Answers:
Unless you purchase a vintage bottle that is intended for aging, it will be best within a few years!. Anything under $30 is not meant to be aged!.

I have had a bottle that was 10 years old (a cheap bottle) and drank it and it was ok but I have had others that did not age so well!.

Keep in mind that 97% of wine is produced for drinking immediately!.

If your questioning about a bottle that you already have and want to know if it is good to drink, my answer would be to try it but not on an important "company" evening!. If you are planning on aging some champagne, seek assistance on the web and from your local store on the correct bottles to buy!. also make sure you have the correct environment!. Nothing worse than ruining a good bottle because it was not stored properly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on who produced it and the vintage- an excellent vintage should last for decades something cheap maybe a year!.

It also depends on how you store it!.
If it is cheap I would keep it cool and drink ASAP!.
If it is a nice champagne you might ask where you bought it for advice on how to store it and when it will be optimum!.
It might be exellent now and amazing in 10 years!.

You might get a better answer if you specify the champagne and year if it has one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Champagne lasts a VERY long time if unopened, although Cooks is not a pricey brand and may not have as good of a taste!.

Once it has been opened, it's done with by night's end!. Don't even bother trying to save it another day unless you open it late inthe night and serve as Mimosas early in the morning!.

Hope that helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're guessing right!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it is better with age like wineWww@FoodAQ@Com
