It may not be a matter of red or white but rather a question of "hot" or not!. California wines are currently being made with higher alcohol levels, making them what is called "hot"!. 12% used to be common but now wines are often running at 14% or 15% or more!. The other thing to consider is that red wine contains more resveratrol, an antioxidant that balances the effect of the alcohol!. It is also more complex so it does not enter the bloodstream as rapidly!. I would stick to red wine if you have less problem with them!. They are actually healthier for you anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
they both raise your bp!. it's probably because of the brand!.
you have to give us more details!.!.!. only answer would primarily be there's more porkfat than pork blood in whites along with refined sugars and clearning chemicals!.
some whites have the same material in them for clearing (filtering) as gelatine which is animal hoof, mostly from pig!.
chemicals raise the bp primarily because it's synthetics or high in animal proteins OR you have an allergy to the proteins (insoluable) that come from most processed food stuffs!.
red wines don't have as much sugars or porkfats in them most will not contain the enzyme of a calves stomach (forgot the name of it already) which can lead to an elevated pressure reading!.
these elements also, if the wine is consumed regularly can lead to higher triglycerides levels and a higher lipid (cholesterol) count!.
use in moderation!.
always switch brands to see which works best with you!.!.!. if one brand gives you a hard time, stop ingesting it!.
not all beverages are created equal!.!. exactly the deal with all processed foods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's a compound in red wine (but not in white wine) called reservatrol!. It has many health benefits, including several heart-related benefits!. it was also recently linked to helping ward off lung cancer (http://www!.findingdulcinea!.com/news/heal!.!.!.
The reservatrol is probably what's keeping red wine from raising your blood pressure!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
