My husband and I just received a 1995 bottle of Perrier Jouet for our wedding. Is it still good?!

Question: My husband and I just received a 1995 bottle of Perrier Jouet for our wedding!. Is it still good!?
I read that champagne does not age like regular wine!. The bottle came in a gift box with (2) matching Perrier Jouet glasses, too!. Box is in perfect condition!. Not sure if the wedding guest re-gifted it to us, or if he bought it recently (again, didn't know 13 year old champagne was sold, since it does not age as well)!.

We were considering saving it for our one year anniversary (Oct '09)!. Should we!?

Thanks!

PS: Out of curiosity, does anyone know how much this bottle would retail for!? Really, I'm just curious!.!.!. in the end it's the thought that counts!. The glasses alone are gorgeous!.

Outstanding gift: approx $200 and very drinkable now!. If waiting one year, just keep it cool and away from light!. Should be a delightful one year anniversary dinner drink!. Enjoy!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Should be fine, unless it doesn't pop when you open it and isn't fizzy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

its perfectly fine, it is considered vintage champagne and the prices go about 149 dollarsWww@FoodAQ@Com
