I started hyperventilating after drinking alcohol..why?!
it was kind of cold out!.!.no one spiked my drink!. it was just me and my bestfriend in my room!.!.i started breathing EXTREMELY heavy for a really long time!. i thought i was going to die!.!.i didn't want to fall asleep because i thought i might stop breathing!. i was wondering what was going on with me!?!.!.a panic attack!? hyperventilating!? a seizure!? dehydration!? i had about 8 shots (I THINK) in 2 hrs!.!.on sort of an empty stomache!.!.

You could be hypoglycemic, meaning you have low blood sugar!. Drinking a lot of alcohol will cause a reaction that can include difficulty breathing and other blood pressure issues!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Did you have any other symptoms such as a rash or red splotches on your body!? I ask because this happened with my husband and he gets read splotches too!.
We determined that it is an allergic reaction which stinks because he was able to drink lots of different stuff before with no problems!.
Buy some Benadryl (sp!?) so you can take it if it happens again!. also, be careful when drinking and try to eat something before hand to see if that helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That happened to me when I downed a litre of cider on an empty stomach, I was breathing heavily for about 5 minutes and it hurt, but afterwards, I felt greatWww@FoodAQ@Com
